Membership

Membership

The NCC Alumni Association (NCCAA) offers the following categories of membership, based on eligibility :

  • Life Members
  • All ex-cadets of the NCC, except those expelled on disciplinary grounds, are eligible to become life members by paying the membership fee. to register, ex-cadets must fill out the alumni form available on the NCC website.

  • Associate Members
  • Eligible for:

    All Officers (including Women Training Officers (WTOs) & Women Training Liaison Officers (WTLOs)) and permanent instructors (PI) Staff posted in NCC HQs/Units who have served for at least one year.

    All Associate NCC officers who have served for at least five years in NCC.

    Applications for associate membership may be considered by the executive committee.

  • Honorary Members
  • The Execute committee may confer honorary membership upon dignitaries, persons of

  • Membership fees
  • A one-time fee of Rs 100/- (Rupees One Hundred) will be charged for obtaining membership in NCCAA. The fee can be paid online or offline. A membership card containing the membership number will be provided once the membership is approved.

  • Rights of Members
  • Members are eligible to attend functions and participate in various activities organized by the NCCAA at its sole discretion.

Cessation of Membership

A member shall cease or be disqualified from being a member in the following vases:

  • Disciplinary Grounds :
  • If a member, in the opinion of the executive committee, is found to be acting in a manner that bring disrepute or is prejudicial to the interests of NCCAA/NCC. The case will be duly analyzed based on facts and figures, and the decision of the executive committee will be communicated in writing and will be binding on the member.

  • Voluntary Resignation
  • By giving written notice of intention to resign to the secretary and upon acceptance by the executive committee.

  • Restoration of Membership
  • A member whose name has been removed from the list of member may appeal to have their name restored. if the executive committee is convinced that there are good and sufficient reasons for restoration, it will be recorded in writing in the minutes of the conference in which the decision was made.

  • Database of Members
  • A comprehensive database will be maintained, indicating the details of alumni, including their addresses, occupations, etc. A full list will be made available on the website, subject to the consent of the registered members.
